Privacy Policy

This policy covers two distinct things: Bilateral Audio (the bilateral stimulation tool) and the Bilateral Binaural website (including this blog). They have different privacy profiles — the app collects nothing, the website uses limited analytics on blog pages.

Zero data

Part 1 — Bilateral Audio App

No Data Collection

Bilateral Audio does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. The app requires no account, login, or personal information. Nothing you do inside the app is tracked, recorded, or sent anywhere.

No Analytics or Tracking

The app contains no analytics, tracking, or advertising frameworks of any kind. No usage data, session lengths, device identifiers, or behavioral data are collected.

Audio Processing

All audio is generated locally on your device using the Web Audio API. No audio data is ever recorded, stored, or transmitted. Your microphone is never accessed.

Third-Party Services

The app does not integrate with any third-party services, APIs, or SDKs that collect user data. All audio processing happens entirely within your browser with no external network calls.

Children's Privacy

Because the app collects no data at all, it is safe for users of any age, including children under 13. We do not collect data from any users.

Part 2 — Bilateral Binaural Website & Blog

Google Analytics

The Bilateral Binaural website uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4) on blog pages to measure general traffic — page views, approximate geographic region, device type, and referral source. This data is aggregated and anonymous. It is used solely to understand which content is useful and how people find the site.

Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser to distinguish visits. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking across all websites using Google's opt-out browser add-on.

No Other Tracking

The website does not use advertising networks, retargeting pixels, session recording tools, heatmaps, or any other tracking beyond Google Analytics. No personal data is collected through the website.

No Data Selling

We do not sell, rent, or share any data — analytics or otherwise — with third parties for commercial purposes.
